TECBEAM HISTORY
The TECBEAM product used today was developed in 1995. After years of operation within the highly competitive Victorian construction industry, the unique technology was acquired by Tecbeam Australasia in April 2007. The product re-launch has involved a new team of management and shareholders. The new shareholders have brought an injection of capital into the business, diverse management skills, and comprehensive industry knowledge. Tecbeam Australasia is a wholly Australian owned and operated company, situated in Dandenong South, Victoria.
Tecbeam Australasia's core technology centres around the TECBEAM joist, a composite steel and timber ‘I’ beam, and TECslab, a light weight flooring system designed in conjunction with CSR Hebel aerated concrete panels.
The new management structure has resulted in strong market growth for the company. The manufacturing equipment is being expanded to initially double the capacity by late 2007. Production capacity will be further increased with the planned manufacturing equipment development in early 2008.
Tecbeam Australasia is looking forward to growing nationally, as it progressively licenses its technology throughout the rest of Australia.
On top of its national growth, Tecbeam Australasia has patented its product internationally and plans to grow into the global market in the next exciting phase of its growth.
